Sculptures
I love building three-dimensionally. My passion for 3D art began in high school when I took a Sewing: Fashion and Fabrics and an Art 2: Fibers and Textiles class. I enjoy working with various materials and creating wearable artwork that is functional and non-functional. Sewing dresses, costumes, and purses is fun to me because I want my clothes and costumes to tell a story. I took my first ceramics class in college and it was hand-building and sculpture-based. I love teaching 3D classes because it allows me to teach my students how to work with a wide range of materials such as: fabric, wood, wire, clay, beads, paper, and miscellaneous fibers.
